ARTICLES:
- WHO: Anyone
- ROLE OPTIONS: become a regular writer (publish articles on a scheduled basis of your choice) or just submit one article
- TIME COMMITMENT: Medium
- Length: max 2,500 words
- Deadline: unless otherwise agreed upon, two months (drafts should be completed and submitted to the committee for review in one month and published one month after that)
- CONTENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Relate to the environment and, preferably, to the law
- Can persuade readers, respond to news or third party articles, or simply provide information about issues
- Must have some commentary on Saskatchewan in some way (ex. explaining implications on the province or include recommendations)
- If interested, submit your piece to us or contact us if you want to be given a topic to write about
CASE BRIEFS:
- WHO: Lawyers or law students
- ROLE OPTIONS: volunteer to write case briefs on a schedule of your choice (ex. once a week or two times a month, etc.) or simply submit one at any time
- TIME COMMITMENT: Medium
- Length: max 1,000 words
- CONTENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Can be from any jurisdiction
- Relate to the environment in some way
- Preferably have some commentary on Saskatchewan (if the case is from outside the province)
PUBLIC LEGAL INFORMATION:
- WHO: Law students or lawyers
- ROLE OPTIONS: volunteer to write about a certain topic or let us assign you a project
- TIME COMMITMENT: Medium (depends on the project)
- DESCRIPTION: help develop materials for the public, such as information for bringing a claim against someone for damaging a person’s land or how to read a certain piece of legislation.
- WHO: Anyone
- TIME COMMITMENT: Medium (you choose what to edit, but any editing projects must meet the deadlines)
- ROLE DESCRIPTION: Join our Information Sharing Subcommittee, who oversees submitted materials. As part of the Subcommittee, you’ll have a chance to volunteer to edit case briefs, articles, or public legal education materials

- TIME COMMITMENT: Depends on the project/your assignment
